MEET THE BEATLES
Capitol T-2047 MONO
Released 1/20/64

Item # LP085       Price $4,250

Factory # 3 on back cover, Scranton, PA.
Extremely tight seal from corner to corner. Simply beautiful.
Mouth opening is sealed tight as a drum with NO breaks at all.
4 factory shrink "breath holes" evident (2 on front Cover, 2 on back Cover).

Truly one of the best sealed examples we have
ever acquired of Capitol's first Beatles LP Release.
This LP is an original first-issue Mono (CAP 2047.MC1A, Spizer),
indicated by "BEATLES !" in the brown lettering, and the Back Cover
does not have the listing print "Produced by GEORGE MARTIN".

Front Cover graphics are bright, bold and very crisp. No ringwear anywhere.

Back Cover remains a brilliant snow white. Absolutely glorious.
Only minor flaw is a millimeter spot of "air mellowing", which is directly under the
area of the factory "breath hole", near the shrink seam on upper left of Back Cover :

The spine is stunning, and print is absolutely centered.

PLEASE NOTE THAT ANY HINT OF "BROWNING" OR "MELLOWING"
THAT APPEAR IN ANY WHITE EDGE AREAS
OF THIS ITEM IS CAUSED BY THE CAMERA ANGLE
AND ITS FLASH. ALL WHITE AREAS ARE CLEAN).
